Australia and the South Pacific

South Pacific

Pristine white beaches, Polynesian culture and French colonialism are just two days sailing away from the Australian East Coast.  Itineraries offer island destinations through Noumea, Vanuatu and Fiji.

Visit Fiji and sail around its islands on 3, 4, 7 and 11 night sailings to remote Fijian Islands.

Explore Tahiti by cruise ship, yacht or freighter.

Or with a couple of weeks up your sleeve cross the pacific to Hawaii and the United States as an alternate to flying.

Whilst most itineraries will have you explore the East Coast including the Barrier Reef and Queensland Islands, the opportunity to circumnavigate Australia or take sail the north or south route only are also offered each year.  Tasmania is a popular port of call during the summer months and cruise lines are seeking new destinations like Margaret River, Newcastle and the Mornington Peninsula to allow cruise passengers to experience even more of Australia.

Sailing the Murray River by paddlesteamer or taking in the breathtaking Kimberley by ship are also popular cruising options a little closer to home.

New Zealand

Spend two weeks sailing the two islands of New Zealand.  Visit its cities of Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch and Dunedin.  Sail through the Milford, Dusty and Doubtful Sounds for a day visiting pristine wilderness.  Enjoy wines in Hawkes Bay and Picton or visit the beaches of Tauranga and the Bay of Islands.

It is a great way to visit family and friends in New Zealand.
